Directional Yagi antennas and sector antenna systems E-sector type.
Directional antennas can be designed according to customer specification (frequency band, gain, front-to-back ratio etc.) As an example a 4-element 7 dB antenna of aviation band is presented.
Antenna is made of thick aluminum sections and tubes. Steel parts are deep-galvanized. All elements are detachable for easy transportation.
Antenna comes with two strong mast clamps for side mounting. Clamps can move along the mounting side of antenna. So antenna can be easily mounted on any mast with different legs and lattice dimensions.
Antennas are powder painted (color can be specified by customer).
Directional E-series antennas are named after following practice:
EX/f1-f2, where X-quantity of elements, f1, f2 - frequency band.
Based on these antennas special antenna arrays are designed:
- Stacked arrays with specified horizontal/vertical beam width, combining several antennas in one direction. These systems are named AxBxEX/f1-f2, where A - number of rows; B - quantity of antennas in each row.
- Systems transmitting into certain sector, combining several antennas in different directions. These systems are named Cx1xEX/f1-f2sector, where C - quantity of antennas.
In both cases antenna systems come with all necessary power dividers and connecting cables, ready for immediate installation.
As an example a 360 degree sector system 6x1xE4/f1-f2sector is shown on the upper image. It consists of 6 antennas, each with horizontal beam width 62 degree.
Antennas are installed along the sides of triangular mast, so covering 6 sectors 60 degree each. Signals come to individual antennas from the common power divider.
Each antenna is fixed by two mast clamps to the vertical legs of the mast.
