Dual polarized directional antennas and circularly polarized E-cross systems for satellite communication.
These systems are based on cross-Yagi antennas. Characteristics specified by customer: frequency, gain, polarization (dual, right/left hand circular).
Cross-polarized systems E-cross series are named after the following practice: AxBxEX/f1-f2 cross R(L)H,
where A - number of rows, B- quantity of antennas in each row, X-quantity of elements in individual antenna, f1,f2 - frequency band, R(L)H - right (left) hand circular polarized.
As an example a 250 MHz antenna system 2x2xE14/240-270crossRH is presented. It consists of 4 antennas (each with 14 elements; gain of individual antenna is 10,2 - 12 dBi) combined into stacked array of 2x2 type (2 rows with 2 antennas in each row). Resulting gain of the system is 15,8 - 17,2 dBi; polarization is right-hand circular.
Antenna is made of thick 40x40x3mm aluminum section, antenna elements are of 12mm bar.
All elements (passive and active) are detachable. They are easily mounted by simple screwing into special plugs on antenna boom. Connection to the active elements is hidden inside the boom.
Antennas are powder painted (color can be specified by customer). Array systems come with all needed elements such as power dividers, connecting cables, fixing modules.
Also special tools and modules for installation, fixing, rotation of the system can be designed according to customer needs.
